Meteomatics forecasts are available across all timescales, historic (back to 1979), nowcast, forecast out to 10 days, probabilistic (out to 46 days), seasonal and climate projections. Meteomatics' Weather API provides access to accurate weather forecasts, across all regions of the globe, with a rich database of >3000 weather parameters. In addition, Meteomatics holds the latest observations in memory, allowing Meteomatics to re-run a forecast for each individual API query it receives, giving customers the option of requesting the very latest forecast information. Meteomatics downscales forecasts using a digital terrain model to create very detailed weather insights, at a horizontal resolution of 90 meters and in 5-minute timesteps. Meteomatics API delivers fast, direct, simple access to weather data, thanks to its powerful proprietary platform called the 'Meteocache', which ensures that the Meteomatics API can efficiently and very quickly return a users data query despite the size of the weather data ingested, thereby offering users a very flexible, agile and performant architecture. All of Meteomatics rich and accurate weather and climate data is made accessible through a single entry point: Meteomatics’ RESTful API. Created with ease of use at the heart of its design, allowing users to request all the weather and climate information held in Meteomatics’ database, using the same API endpoint. Before choosing their preferred programming language and integrating the requested data with one of the many data connectors Meteomatics support.
