Indicator values published in this data set is represented as balance i.e. the difference between positive and negative answers (arithmetic average of balances). The data in this dataset is not seasonally adjusted.
This dataset includes data from 1988 until first of September 2023. Before 1993 these indicators were published quarterly, but after that they are monthly. Business and consumer surveys (BCS) are a joint harmonised EU programme run by the European Commission.
