Veradigm is the premier provider of de-identified ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) data for research. Veradigm's Health Insights Ambulatory EHR (HIAE) v0.2 data consists of longitudinal, de-identified ambulatory EHR data that is nationally representative. This data is sourced from practices across the U.S. using three different EHR systems. These different EHR systems span the continuum of ambulatory care delivery, from independent, single-provider offices to large, integrated delivery system providers including both primary and specialty care. Patients appear in the data when they receive care from providers using one of the source EHR systems. While the population of patients included is provider specific, the data is presented by patient and at the level of the provider’s interaction with the EHR. For example, a patient encounter in a provider office may include several interactions: vitals taken and entered, consult with the doctor, prescriptions written, tests ordered, etc. This data therefore represents the actual patient journey as care is received in these diverse practices.
