Australian Consumer Financial Holdings & Intentions data from the DBM Atlas consumer survey that has been prepared for enhancement of first-party databases by geodemographic projection to the level of SA1+Addresstype+Age+Gender using the unique geoTribes synthetic population modelling technology.
DBM Atlas is Australia’s most comprehensive financial services data ecosystem incorporating the largest and most representative survey of over 80,000 consumers and businesses each year. The Survey is 100% focused on financial services keeping respondents’ minds entirely focused on their financial behaviours, intentions and attitudes, and ensuring optimal reliability and accuracy.
DBM Atlas is used by over 50 Australian financial services brands including major banks, insurers and wealth brands for KPI setting, marketing strategy and performance measurement.
The DBM geoAtlas Financial Holdings & Intentions (AUS) data comprises 148 variables:
1. Product Holdings (96) Credit Cards (9), Deposit Accounts (15), Insurance (24), Lending (mortgage and non-mortgage) (28), Direct Investment (7) & Retirement (13)
2. Financial Intentions (52) Credit Cards (10), Total Deposits (9), Insurance (11), Lending (mortgage and non-mortgage) (13), Other (9).
The variables are appended to first-party databases in a process that uses sophisticated probability calculations to translate the SA1, dwelling type, age band and gender of each individual first-party database record to estimate the probability that the record would have each particular geoAtlas characteristic, such as “Intend to take out a new mortgage in the N12M”.
Expected Workflow:
1. User requests this data from geoTribes (via the Request button);
2. geoTribes and user agree to commercial terms;
3. geoTribes provides user with details of datashare via UDTF;
4. User appends geoTribes content to their database through the Snowflake datashare.
5. geoTribes content is available on user database for analytics, visualization and other use cases.
DBM geoAtlas Financial Holdings & Intentions (AUS) is supplied as a Snowflake UDTF that accepts a database with the following schema as input:
