Compact’s Zip level financial data features household average income and net worth at the Zip Code level. Income and net worth attributes are established from a variety of sources that include self-reported data, neighborhood-level income values, and local economic data. Compact’s privacy-first compilation methodologies comply with all privacy and data governance requirements. Data updates weekly.
The Zip level financial dataset includes income and net worth averages by 3- and 5-digit Zip Code. The following files are provided:
- A count of individuals in each of Compact’s income ranges (STANDARD_INCOME_CODE), grouped by Zip
- A count of individuals in each of Compact’s net worth ranges (NET_WORTH), grouped by Zip
- Mean net worth (mean_net_worth), median net worth (median_net_worth), average income (average_income), median income (median_income), truncated mean net worth (truncated_mean_net_worth), and truncated median income (truncated_median_income) by 5-digit Zip Code
